Where do I start? Well, the obvious would be the price… this thing ain’t cheap! But, if you’ve got the money to spend and you really care about quality, then the Marantz BD8002 is hard to beat. I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of the styling, but is that why we buy a high end BD player? This thing will upscale to 1080p through HDMI and the sound quality through DTS-HD Master Audio is UNREAL! The Master Audio lets you hear the sound as the director had intended it. If you want a solid addition to your home theatre that you won’t have to replace any time soon, and you don’t mind spending a few extra bucks, this is THE Blu-ray player for you!
